3 Steps to success

There are three main steps to complete in Acme People Search, but, what are these steps for?

First of all there's the signup process, which also generates your search engine, and gives you some information you need to get started. On to the steps.

Step 1: Affiliatize:

In this step you are required to join some affiliate programs, it costs nothing to join them, and it increases your income opportunities from your search engine.

The affiliate programs required are, ClickBank, HD Publishing, and MyLife. These will be embedded in your search engine when you complete step 1.

(Display rate after competing this step: 35%)

Step 2: Monetize:

So now we have our own search engine, with a lot of earning tools embedded, but... right now its being hosted on a domain which is not yours. Is that bad? well, no, but your search engine could be way better if it were hosted under its own domain.

Instead of your search engine having a hard to remember address, like this: http://acme-people-search.com/1234567890XXXX (just an example)

We can turn it into something easy to remember, and eye catching: www.totalpeoplefinder.ws (my people search engine)

In order to complete step 2 you'll need to get some hosting for your search engine, you have to chose one from the options provided, no other hosting options are available except for the ones in there. Too restrictive? Any of the hosting options shown, will give you yet another way to profit with your search engine.

Hosting options:
GDI: In my opinion the best option to choose, it offers many bonuses for referring new members, and also gives you a residual income, from your referrals hosting fee.
$10 USD/month (monthly payments), 7 day free trial. Domain included.

HostGator: Good option, good commissions per referral, no residual income.
$8.95 USD/month (monthly payments), plus domain ($15, yearly), plus setup fee ($5, one time)

LunarPages: Well there's no benefit from using this host at all, no referring options.
$8.95 USD/month (12 months agreement).

(Display rate after competing this step: 65%)

Step 3: Advertise:

This step can be a little confusing, in order to complete it you are required to pay a monthly subscription fee of $29.95, includes 30 days free tiral.

What does it include?

1. 100% Display rate. Your search engine's affiliate IDs will be displayed to 100% of your visitors. When you're at the 100% Display rate, visitors to your search engine will always use your affiliate links when they buy from ClickBank, HD Publishing or MyLife. (By comparison, if you're at the 65% Display rate, your affiliate links will be used by only 65% of visitors to your search engine, reducing your earnings.)

2. GDI Secret Sign-up Sauce. Gives you the ability to offer your referrers only one hosting option, GDI, thus increasing your sign-ups for it, and therefore, your residual income and bonuses.

3. Super Affiliate Switch Available. Gives you the ability to get the HostGator commissions from your referrals at Acme People Search (notice that even if you chose HostGator as your hosting in step 2, you wont be able to get commissions from your Acme referrals until your switch is flipped). There are several extra requirements for the Super Affiliate Switch tough, check them out once you complete step 3 if you're interested.

(Bonus) FREE advertising. You get free advertising as a bonus with your subscription, this bonus ends when you've reached $125 in commissions.

First post, first thoughts

I just got into this affiliate business thing, and I want to give it a try, see if it works out for me.

I joined Acme People Search 4 days ago (as of this writing) and I've made my way through the 3 steps provided in the program, granted, there's more "stuff" to do than those 3 steps to increase your income, but I'll get into those later when I try them out.

On this 4 days, I've learned a lot, but there's much more left to learn, and I'll keep a record of what works, what kinda works, and what does not work, in the affiliate world I've just got into.

I think that's enough for a first post. :)
